Droopy Eyelids Got You Down?

The Wiggle

  1. Start by raising your eyebrows and then closing your eyes.
  2. With your eyes still closed, lower your eyebrows.
  3. Repeat this ten times.

The Pull-Up

  1. Place your index fingers horizontally on your forehead directly above your eyebrows (like you’re making fake finger eyebrows).
  2. Move your eyebrows down with your fingers.
  3. Try to raise your eyebrows back to their normal spot while resisting your fingers.  

The Flirt

  1. Make your eyes wide.
  2. Wink and hold for 1 second.
  3. Repeat this 50 times on one side.
  4. Repeat on other eye.

Cucumber

Apparently, according to The Huffington Post , the cucumber trick does work. “If puffiness is accompanied by irritation, home remedies like cucumbers or chamomile tea can help reduce the inflammation and swelling,” says Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis. The antioxidants in the cucumber lessen irritation and the coldness helps to reduce puffiness.  As Dr. Nikolaidis also recommends, placing a cool chamomile tea bag over your eyes can also reduce swelling.  Steep two tea bags in hot water and allow to cool before placing on your face. You’ll feel like a movie star, and you didn’t even have to leave the house.  

Egg Whites

For a quick fix try dipping a q-tip in egg whites and brushing it on the crease of your eyelid.  Close your eye and allow the egg to dry.  Egg whites are known to tighten and firm the skin.  They contain albumin, a protein that is used for cell regeneration and repair. Egg on your face, but in a good way!

Ice Water

Try washing your face with cold water or rubbing ice cubes around your eyelids.  Cold water restricts blood vessels and tightens the skin.  This one’s almost too easy.
