Each morning after use, remove your patch and place it adhesive side down on the storage shield, and keep the storage shield away from dust. To clean the patch, rinse it with water and allow to completely dry before reapplying to skin or placing it back on the storage shield.

Our silicone patches create an intense microclimate of hydration on the skin. This has proven smoothing and skin-plumping effects, but since you are trapping moisture into your skin, any natural oils or products can cause irritation. By cleansing, you also keep the adhesive free of any dead skin cells that may interfere with stickiness.

Prior to patch application, we recommend cleansing with an oil-free cleanser and ensuring skin is completely free of any moisturizer or serum. It may also be beneficial to exfoliate the skin, as dead skin cells can build up over time and can prevent optimal adhesion. We do NOT recommend using any product (particularly those with acids or oils) under the patches, since they may irritate the skin and will interfere with patch adhesion.

Upon removal of the SiO Patches in the morning, some people may notice a rosy glow to the skin. This is due to increased hydration and blood flow and will usually dissipate within a few minutes. Due to the adhesive nature of our patches, they can affect those with allergies to adhesives or silicones. People with these allergies or sensitivities may experience slight redness or irritation, and should discontinue use until speaking with a doctor. If you are not sure if you have a sensitivity to adhesives or silicones, test the patch on a small area of the skin before use.

We manufacture our silicone patches in a clean room environment, and the packaging is sealed to keep the product free of dust and debris. We also provide a plastic shield inside the packaging to store the patches and keep them clean.

Always be careful when removing any patches around the delicate eye area. To remove a patch from this area, gently lift the top of the patch near the brow bone, while holding the skin taut with your other hand. Then, tap along the skin with a fingertip, pushing the adhesive away until fully removed.

If you notice a "pock mark" surface underneath the patch, don’t worry. This is normal for some skin types and it's completely temporary. This reaction is called perifollicular edema and it is simply a result of skin being under occlusion (covered) for a prolonged period of time.
